I'm very forgetful so I'm posting information (no matter how trivial since I don't seem to follow common sense) on what I've learned so far on Project K.
- Storyboards/Script (From Yee)
- Be more professional.
- Use correct grammar. Think of how to make presentation better
- Silhouettes/Thumbs Example Tutorial
- Base it on an existing person. I have trouble following this one. Celebrity if no close examples.
- Derail your train of thought so you offer variety in your silhouettes. Then narrow.
- Have your shapes tell the personality.
- One opinion: Wide shoulders and flaring limbs give the impression of robotic characters. Also some hairstyles seem to have robotic characteristics too.
- Another opinion: Accurate with basic shapes gives off the feeling of a manniquin/robot.
- Use patterns to denote teams. Colors and lines too.
- Shared ideas that society places on certain imagery is recommended.
- Altered proportions.
- Expression
- Pose personality. After design is almost complete.
- Props
- Lighting on important features
- Consider age.
- Backgrounds
- Try to go for depth in the composition.
- Designate a style to remain consistent.
